Frequently Asked Questions
How long does mutton achar last?
Kept in a clean, dry glass jar with a layer of oil on top, it lasts a few weeks in the fridge. Always use a dry spoon.
Why should the mutton be fried until dry?
Any water left in the mutton makes the pickle spoil quickly. Fry the cooked pieces until all moisture is gone before mixing in the masala.
