Frequently Asked Questions
Why are my cookies soft when they come out of the oven?
Ghee cookies are soft while hot and only turn crisp as they cool completely. Take them out when the edges are light golden; baking longer makes them hard.
Can I bake these cookies without an oven?
Yes. Preheat a heavy pan or pressure cooker without the whistle on low heat, place the cookies on a plate inside and cover. They take longer than in an oven, so check the edges for colour.
