Cooking Steps
- 1In a large bowl, beat 4 eggs using a hand mixer until frothy.
- 2Add 1 cup oil and beat well.
- 3Add 1 cup powdered sugar and continue beating until light and creamy.
- 4Add 1 cup all-purpose flour (Maida), 1 tsp baking powder, and ½ tsp baking soda. Mix well.
- 5Add 1 tsp vanilla essence and 2 tbsp cocoa powder. Mix until combined.
- 6Pour in ½ cup milk and mix until you get a smooth batter.
- 7Grease a glass baking dish with oil and pour the batter into it.
- 8Preheat the oven to 180°C for 10 minutes. Bake at 180°C for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 9Let the cake cool completely, then remove it from the dish and cut it into slices.
- 10Prepare the Chocolate Ganache:
- 11Heat 250 ml fresh cream in a pan until it just begins to boil.
- 12Add 100 g dark chocolate and stir until melted and smooth. Switch off the flame.
- 13Add 1 tsp cocoa powder and ¼ tsp vanilla essence. Mix until silky and glossy.
- 14Assemble the Dessert:
- 15Dip each chocolate cake slice briefly in milk.
- 16Arrange a layer of soaked cake slices in a serving dish or glass.
- 17Spread a generous layer of chocolate ganache over the cake.
- 18Repeat the layers until all the cake slices and ganache are used.
- 19Finish with a final layer of ganache.
- 20Sprinkle choco chips on top and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
- 21Refrigerate for 2–3 hours until well chilled.
