Frequently Asked Questions
Why rinse the paneer after straining?
Rinsing under running water removes the vinegar taste and stops the curds from cooking further, which keeps the paneer soft.
How do I get firm paneer blocks?
After squeezing out the whey, keep the paneer wrapped in the cloth under a heavy weight for 1 to 2 hours. Then cut it into cubes.
