Frequently Asked Questions

Why cook the rice only 90 percent?

The rice finishes cooking when you toss it in the hot pan with the vegetables and sauces. Fully cooked rice would turn mushy and stick together.

Can I use leftover rice for chicken fried rice?

Yes, leftover basmati rice works very well because it is drier and the grains stay separate. Break up any lumps before adding it to the pan.
